Red-headed Woodpecker and friends

Today, I went to a small park a couple miles away to chase the Red-headed Woodpecker that has been overwintering there for a few months. After only a couple minutes, I found the awesome bird (lifer!), perched on a the top of a snag. Of course, some of the regulars were there, as well. On the way back, I was surprised to find 2 Turkey Vultures, which were state birds for me, flying overhead--I'm not used to seeing them during winter.
